Arrowfield Stud have released the 2026 service fees for its 7 stallions, after an incredibly successful 10 Group 1 victories by 4 Arrowfield sires over the Sydney Autumn Carnival. THE AUTUMN SUN, sire of superstar Autumn Glow and dual Group 1 Guineas winner Autumn Boy, heads Arrowfield Stud’s stallion roster for the first time at a new fee of $137,500 inc. GST.

Dundeel Filly IDLE FLYER became the tenth Gr1 winner for her sire, who is rightly regarded as an outstanding sire in his own right, with 500 Winners, 40 Stakes Winners and 33 Stakes Placegetters. However, his early crops record with fillies was not as strong as that of his colts. That has turned around and is looking far more balanced. His fillies strike rate has certainly improved as time has gone bye, and he now has two female Gr1 winners as Idle Flyer joins Femminile.

Another terrific weekend for Arrowfield Stud sire Dundeel when 4YO daughter Idle Flyer became the highly rated sire’s 10th Group 1 winner with a tremendous victory in the $1 million ATC Queen of the Turf 1600m Gr1 on Day 2 of The Championships at Royal Randwick. Last-start winner of the Emancipation S. G2, Idle Flyer levelled up to multiple Group 1 winners Treasurethe Moment, then Pride Of Jenni and finally Lady Shenandoah (by Snitzel) before kicking clear to score by 0.85 length in 1.33.81 – a new race record. She is the 9th stakes winner, and the 2nd Group 1 winner from Dundeel's 2021 crop joining South Australian Derby winner Femminile.

Champion Sire SNITZEL is leading the way again in 2026. On Saturday 4 April: SNITZEL had 2 Stakes Winners and 3 stakes placegetters including Campione D'Italia - 56.5 who won the breed shaping 2YO ATC Inglis Sires' Gr1 1400m. This was the colt’s first Gr1 win, and it pleased us as we have a winning mare named Altercation (American Pharoah) who is a close female relation to Campione D'Italia.

Again, SAVABEEL is this season’s Leading Sire by Winners on the New Zealand Sires Premiership and sits a close second by Earnings. The 24-year-old Savabeel continues to perform at the highest level. Whilst he is also a remarkable Broodmare Sire, leading the Premiership by Winners and is second to O’Reilly by Earnings. So far this season he has recorded twelve individual stakes winners and nine stakes placegetters.

She’s bred to be a short-course sprinter, was purchased for bargain basement price, and is one of the main chances in a Gr1 $2 million race over the marathon 3200m at Royal Randwick on Saturday. On Easter Saturday all eyes were on Royal Randwick for Day One of the ATC The Championships which is renown as one of the best day’s racing on the calendar.
