MICROGRAVITY Delivers 1000th WIN for DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS

On a cool, wet, grey afternoon on the 27th May, at Port Macquarie, our Newcastle based Dynamic Trainer JASON DEAMER took our lightly raced 3yo gelding MICROGRAVITY (The Autumn Sun x Gravity Zero) to the sport and under the steering of jet pilot Luke Rolls, MICROGRAVITY proved a class above , living up to his odds-on starting price to deliver an armchair rider for Luke as the pair crossed the line just on 5 lengths in advance of the pack chasing him home.

It was a big win for various reasons to Dynamic Syndications. They were:

MICROGRAVITY became our 340th Individual Winner (91.6%)

MICROGRAVITY recorded our 49th Race Win for the current racing season.

And MOST IMPORTANTLY – MICROGRAVITY earned the moniker of recording:

DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS 1,000th Race Win.

MICROGRAVITY had put the writing on the wall prior to arriving at Port Macquarie to contest the TAB Venue Mode Maiden Plate 1500m. Here he was having his third career start, after being runner-up both on debut, and again runner-up last time out.

Both trips indicated he would be better suited as distances increased and the way he won this event franked our belief, he is a nice middle-distance prospect in the making.

This race was originally scheduled for Taree on Monday, but the course was unsuitable for racing due to the rain, so the meeting was pushed back to Wednesday and venues changed to Port Mac.

Our speed map had us lobbing into a nice trailing position in the one / one spot and that’s how the race unfolded.

Jason Deamer delivered MICROGRAVITY to the sport in magnificent condition as our excellent horse conditioner always does.

As the gates crashed back, MICROGRAVITY jumped evenly, and there was some early tempo applied as three of the field disputed the early speed. Luke was able to move across and get the back of the second favourite, one off the fence, in the running line as the field settled into their positions.

Waiting until they balanced at the top of the straight, Luke angled MICROGRAVITY into the centre of the track and let the brakes off.

MICROGRAVITY lengthened stride effortlessly and cruised up to eyeball the leaders passing the 200m mark. Working to the lead with 100m to run, it was a matter of how far as those chasing had nothing left.

Under an easy hands and heels, MICROGRAVITY pulled away with every stride to record a widening yet eased down 4.99 lengths margin over the runner-up Bonjour Bill with a further 0.62 length back to the third horse Dancing Tilda.

Racecaller Rod Fuller described it perfectly from our perspective and we quote Rod from the 250m mark: “Here’s MICROGRAVITY down the crown of the track. At the 200m MICROGRAVITY surges to the front over Dancing Tilda, Wootton Please, behind those Fashion Spree, but its MICROGRAVITY in front, a thousand syndicated wins to Dynamic Syndications, as MICROGRAVITY storms away and wins by four, Bonjour Bill second, Dancing Tilda third.”

Microgravity after we purchased him at the Magic Millions

MICROGRAVITY was purchased at the 2024 Magic Millions Lot 729 from Arrowfield Stud for $90,000. We rated the yearling highly bred on the super REDOUTE’S CHOICE x MORE THAN READY Cross that at that time had produced 24 Stakes Winners.

MICROGRAVITY ticked off two important questions, firstly could he handle a heavy track? And secondly did he want further? And both those questions were answered with an emphatic Yes!

He was by the emerging sire THE AUTUMN SUN who has since proven his incredible success. The Dam GRAVITY ZERO is from a strong black type family that rated highly. He struck us as one of the best moving yearlings at the sale. He was specifically purchased to be trained by JASON DEAMER and has been in Jason’s care since the sale.
