With eight (8) stakes winners this season, a second Group 1 Winner
and three (3) 2yo stakes winners, including Dynamic Syndications Gr3 Winning
Mare PIGGYBACK, Widden Stud based sire TRAPEZE ARTIST is building momentum on
the track and in the barn.

With his service fee set at $27,500 in 2026, and across the
board his yearlings averaging $75,000 with a top price of $260,000, and at the
Magic Millions he averaged $150,000. The son of champion sire SNITZEL is
competitively priced into a market craving success and an opportunity of a
positive ROI.
With his eight (8) stakes winners this 2025-26 season, led
by Group 1 Australasian Oaks winner PANOVA, along with PIGGYBACK, PINITO,
DISNECK, THE CRIMSON PIRATE, SPICY MISS, CHILLY GRL and WHERE’S THE CIRCUS.

TRAPEZE ARTIST - SIRE
TRAPEZE ARTIST continues building a resume that should have
the successful sire standing at a significantly higher fee.
His racetrack results are moving quickly, but his commercial
profile has not moved at the same pace. Most likely a result of the lack of
marketing support he receives from his ownership syndicate.
For breeders and buyers looking left of centre to buy
established, ongoing success, over marketing hype, ego and fashion for unproven
sires, TRAPEZE ARTIST has the progeny astute investors have identified.
Widden Stud’s Matt Comerford said “It’s an impressive season
that he's had. He’s had a lot of depth in his 2-year-old crop as well. He’s showing
the ability of what he’s able to do. To have the three stakes winning
2-year-olds this season is huge and then is bolstered by his older progeny who
keep ticking along. Panova was a huge highlight winning the Oaks, and Pinito
has come out and won a Group 3 this year.”
That is the position where TRAPEZE ARTIST sits currently. He
is no longer a young sire being assessed on promise, but he been flying under
the radar commercially as a known source of stakes horses.
Trapeze Artist’s oldest foals are 5-year-olds and he has six
individual stakes winners from that first crop, led by Group 1 Caulfield
Guineas winner Griff who stands at Larneuk Stud in 2026 for $7,700 inc GST.
Comerford said “He's always had good results. But there’s
that perception versus service fee versus what he did himself at the racetrack.
He gets judged a bit differently to a horse that comes out of nowhere”.
“Hats off to Snitzel, who has been a phenomenal stallion and
he’s been Champion Stallion and will be again this year. If you look at the
comparisons of crops at a similar age, there’s very little between Trapeze
Artist and Snitzel.”
“It's exciting to see what he's got coming through. He’s got
good solid crops of mares coming through in the next few years, and if one
compares his service fee now to others who are current and active on the sire’s
list, he looks incredible value.”
“They are in the right stables. Ciaron Maher has Piggyback
and Spicy Miss, Chris Waller has Panova and Pinito.”
In total, Trapeze Artist has 12 career stakes winners and 17
stakes placegetters, plus 156 winners from 264 runners, striking at 59%. His
record includes two (2) Group 1 winners. At the same stage of his career, his
sire Snitzel had 15 stakes winners, headed by G1 JJ Atkins Plate winner
Sizzling.

Trapeze Artist’s commercial expectations were high from the
start.
A brilliant son of Snitzel, he won seven (7) races including
four (4) at Group 1 level from three to four, after showing early talent at
two.

He entered stud in Aust. in 2019. He entered stud at $88,000
and covered 180 mares in his first season. Since then, his fee has stepped down
gradually, with his 2026 price set at $27,500 inc GST.
Comerford continued, “To some degree, he's probably
outpriced himself in the early years at stud where he was placed in that
marketplace, and obviously (owner) Bert Vieira has been in a fortunate position
to support the horse incredibly well.
“It’s exactly what he always wanted to do, and what we
wanted him to do, and his marketability at the current service fee now is
outstanding. He gives everyone a really good opportunity to breed to him.”
Comerford added.
“We’ve also learned how to breed to him better, which is an
important factor commercially, so we’ve seen more consistent, better types from
him,” Comerford said.
“On the racetrack, it hasn’t really mattered what mares
we’ve sent him because he’s effective at getting runners at different
distances. He can get 2-year-olds, an Oaks winner, and a Guineas winner.
“But from a commercial point of view, sending him a
short-coupled, stylish mare definitely benefits the type that he throws. He’s a
beautiful, big, strong horse with power and quality, and he leaves substance in
them. If you send a mare that already has a lot of size and substance, you can
get a bigger horse that takes a bit more time. They perform on the track, but
the commercial element is important.”
Trapeze Artist’s three juvenile stakes winners this season
are Group 2 Sweet Embrace Stakes winner Spicy Miss, Group 3 Widden Stakes
winner Chilly Girl, and Restricted Listed Inglis Nursery Stakes winner Where’s
The Circus.
For Dynamic Syndications, patience is our key. Trapeze
Artist has a reputation for siring horses that aren’t speedy squibs.
They take
a bit more time, but they can get out over a trip which offsets the wait.
That’s why we are attracted to his progeny.
Over the past decade there has been a shift in philosophies.
With races such as The Everest and The Golden Eagle, the rich Magic Millions
Series, the Big Dance, and a plethora of other races interstate, reshaping
prizemoney distribution landscapes for mature horses, purchasers are re-thinking
early, seemingly disposable, precocious 2-year-old types.
TRAPEZE ARTIST can represent exceptional value. Trapeze
Artist has plenty of opportunities to keep siring winners and as they improve
with age.
Trapeze Artist seems to be getting more milers than
sprinters and therefore they're better off with some time as 2yo races do not really
cater for this distance range.
This suits Team Dynamic needs. For example, PIGGYBACK
has a career record of: 23 starts = 7:0:4 and Prizemoney: $673,600. She’s won
two Group 3 races the Colin Stephen Quality (2400m) and the Parramatta Cup
(1900m).

Dynamic Syndications purchased a fabulous looking filly by
TRAPEZE ARTIST at the 2026 Magic Millions.

Our Filly - 11 June 26
Our filly was Lot 761 from the mare
SALLY’S REALM (by MORE THAN READY).

Sally's Realm
Sally’s Realm won 3 races and placed 3-times in WA from
1200m to 1400m at Ascot, but also showed a desire to stretch that trip, when
she ran 6th of 16 in the Ascot Guineas LR 1800m by 2 lengths and 6th
of 19 in the WA Oaks Gr3 2400m by 4.5 lengths.
SALLY’S REALM has produced a winner named Captivating Tycoon
(c by Capitalist) who won over 1000m this season.
Sally’s Realm descends from one of the stronger black-type sprinting
families in the Australian Stud Book.
For example, Sally’s Realm is a Full-Sister to high quality sprinter
and now successful sire BETTER THAN READY. She is also a Full-sister to stakes
placed SALLY’S DAY.
SALLY’S REALM is a daughter of SALLY’S WORLD – a winner of 5
races from 1000m to 1200m, herself a half-sister to Stakes Winners PUBLISHING
and MISS MOONEY MOONEY.
SALLY’S REALM’s Grand Dam is Stakes Placed SALLY MAGIC who
ran 2nd in the Magic Millions 2yo Classic whilst her Third Dam is SLEEP
TIME GIRL, a 2yo Stakes Winner.
What’s important to recognise is that the filly we purchased
is bred on the awesome cross of SNITZEL (and his sons and grandsons - Sire of
TRAPEZE ARTIST) over daughters and grand-daughters of MORE THAN READY (Sire of
SALLY’S REALM).
Horses bred this way have produced 13 Stakes Winners 7 colts
& 6 fillies, including 3 Gr1 Winners. They are:

Trapeze Legend More

So, we know that genetically the cross has been highly
successful and is rated A+++.
Next, we know that the Dam – Sally’s Realm was a city
winning sprinter who showed toughness to be stretched out to 1800m and 2400m in
stakes races and finished close-up. The fact that the progeny of Trapeze Artist
has a propensity to be good sprinter-milers who can stretch our further such as
our own Trapeze Artist Filly - Piggyback.
Our yearling purchase being a filly bred this way, will
always have a strong black-type family behind her and she will therefore have
residual value upon retirement for the breeding barn.
As an individual she is a stunning filly. Very much built in
the mould of her sire Trapeze Artist. Strong, short coupled, powerful type.
That style of muscle culture is important for a filly.

Our filly (left) working with our Dundeel filly
Then she was sound and right of wind and limb.
In 2023 the
year she was conceived at Widden Stud, the Service Fee for TRAPEZE ARTIST was
$55,000 inc GST. From that crop he produced 102 live foals (current yearlings).
He stayed at $55,000 in 2024 where there are 62 live foals (current weanlings) before
his service fee reduced to $33,000 inc GST in 2025 where he covered 52 mares.
The cost of production of our filly would have seen the
breeder a conservative $100,000 (Service Fee + mare agistment +foaling and 18
months agistment + sales preparation + insurance + sale entry + transport
+sales company commission).
To buy such a nice filly with a big page in the sale ring
for $100,000 + GST is an absolute salering steal.

Since we purchased our filly Trapeze Artist has remained on
the boil as a sire.
To buy a filly with great conformation, successful genetics
and a commercial female family puts all the odds in our favour.
In uncertain times owners want to have access to horses
where all the reasons are positive that their horse should have a decent crack
at the record prizemoney on offer.
This filly is fabulous, and at a price point offering huge
bang for buck, then strong market appeal for the breeding barn.
