A Churchill Downs Winner and then, the First "Stakes Horse" for JUSTIFY
It was winner number
three (3) for the undefeated
US Triple Crown winner JUSTIFY on Friday when
JUST CINDY (2f Justify x Jenda’s Agenda, by Proud Citizen) won by 2¼ lengths at Churchill Downs.
JUST CINDY
The 5½ furlong (1100m) Maiden Special Weight saw Just Cindy a little slow from the gates and settled behind the leaders, before surging to the line to win the 5½ f juvenile maiden by two and a half lengths.
The filly race keenly in mid-pack down the back straight before finding herself all alone, as the field split into two distinct groups. However, she didn’t stay back in the second division long, moving up to sit just behind the leaders around the home turn.
Just Cindy took the lead at the furlong (200m) mark and was given just a few taps to win, pulling away for trainer Eddie Kenneally.
Justify’s three winners and three placegetters including now a
Stakes Placed runner-up, has the sensational racehorse and now
boom sire currently in second spot of all North American freshmen stallions in 2022, just behind the leader
Bolt d'Oro with three fewer runners.
Justify will have his first Australian runners next season and they are already appearing in our leading stables as they progress from being broken in after the yearling sales this year where they sold for up to $1million.
JUSTIFY at Stud
Justify returns to Australia this spring at a fee of $55,000.
Then on Saturday,
a poor barrier draw and a shocking ride cost
TAHOMA victory in the Fasig-Tipton Futurity when runner-up by a length at Santa Anita.
The winner Absolutely Zero was the only filly in the race and had the pull in the weights and the ability to stick to the fence throughout was a huge advantage compared to
Tahoma who was
stuck 4-5 deep on pace throughout without cover.
Sent out as the heavy favourite despite facing colts for the first time, Absolutely Zero justified her odds with a confident performance.
Tahoma, who is by 2018 US Triple Crown winner
JUSTIFY was the first North American foal to race, when he broke his maiden going 4½ furlongs (900m) at Santa Anita on May 22.
He improved markedly off that run and was on the second line of betting at 3-1, but because of the torrid run was unable to reel in the winner.
JUSTIFY has now had 8 runners: 3 Winners and 3 Placed including a stakes placegetter:

Nobody predicted the
incredible ability JUSTIFY is throwing into
his progeny to be able to
produce early coming precocious 2yo types.
This is amazing and exciting.
Dynamic Syndications are also equally upbeat about the 3 JUSTIFY yearlings we purchased this year.
On what they are showing our team, this immediate success in the Northern Hemisphere appears will be replicated here in Australia.
We have SOLD OUT of our first two (2) JUSTIFY Yearlings; ex PICKIN’ TIME and ex SAVAPINSKI.
We have only a handful of shares to go in our filly ex TINGU (FR) that is heading into CIARON MAHER & DAVID EUSTACE to be trained.

One of his Australian yearlings can win this Red Ferrari
Don’t miss out on our glamorous JUSTIFY Filly because on what we have seen the owners may win themselves a New Red FERRARI.
