It matters when purchasing a yearling. It matters when developing a young horse. It matters when placing a racehorse into the right event.

It also matters when presenting an exciting ownership opportunity to the market.

Dynamic Syndications deliberately chose to retain the promotion of our outstanding filly by Champion Racehorse and rapidly rising sire THE AUTUMN SUN from the Japanese bred broodmare PRINCESS NOIR until the commencement of the New Financial Year.

The calendar turned to 1 July, the new financial year commenced, and now for both Dynamic Syndications and our Owners, the wait is over.

We are delighted to officially launch this beautiful filly to the public and offer owners the opportunity to secure shares in a young horse that combines an exceptional physical appearance, a deeply successful international pedigree, powerful genetic statistics, significant residual value and the services of Australia’s leading trainer CIARON MAHER.

Purchased by Dynamic Syndications and Dean Watt Bloodstock for $150,000 plus GST as Lot 700 from the Arrowfield Stud draft at the 2026 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, this filly had been identified as a yearling of considerable interest well before she entered the salering.

She had the pedigree that demanded our attention.

However, pedigrees do not gallop by themselves.

The individual standing in front of us still needed to satisfy the strict physical, veterinary and genetic standards that underpin every Dynamic Syndications purchase.

She did exactly that.

Our filly presented as a well grown, athletic and beautifully balanced individual.

She displayed quality, strength, scope and an excellent shape, with the movement and presence we seek when assessing prospective racehorses.

Importantly, she passed her veterinary examinations with clean, Low Risk X Rays and a Grade 1 endoscopic examination.

She also achieved an outstanding genetic rating of A 386%, supported by a Q7 Quality Rating.

These are not simply attractive numbers placed beside a pedigree.

They are important pieces of information within a detailed selection process designed to identify matings carrying the genetic ingredients that have already demonstrated an ability to produce high class racehorses.

When her physical qualities were combined with her veterinary results, genetic rating, female family and sire power, she became a compelling yearling for our team to pursue.

At the centre of the pedigree is her sire THE AUTUMN SUN.

The Autumn Sun - Sire

A magnificent racehorse himself, THE AUTUMN SUN was a five time Group 1 winner and the outstanding colt of his generation.

By the breed shaping Champion Sire REDOUTE’S CHOICE, THE AUTUMN SUN won eight of his nine career starts and displayed brilliance, toughness and an extraordinary will to win.

He was successful at Group 1 level as a two year old in the J J Atkins Stakes before returning at three to claim the Golden Rose, Caulfield Guineas, Randwick Guineas and Rosehill Guineas.

His performance in the Caulfield Guineas remains one of the most memorable victories of the modern era.

After appearing to have an impossible task ahead of him, THE AUTUMN SUN produced an astonishing finish to overwhelm his rivals and stamp himself as a racehorse of rare ability.

Outstanding racehorses do not automatically become outstanding sires.

THE AUTUMN SUN, however, is proving that his racetrack brilliance is being passed through to his progeny.

With only four crops of racing age, he has already established himself among the most influential sires in Australia.

He is the sire of ten Stakes Winners, with five individual Group 1 winners among them.

His headline performers include the sensational AUTUMN GLOW,

Dual Guineas winner AUTUMN BOY,

Australian Oaks winner AUTUMN ANGEL,

Australasian Oaks winner VIBRANT SUN and

South Australian Derby winner COCO SUN.

These are not restricted to one racing pattern, one distance range or one type of horse.

His progeny have demonstrated speed, acceleration, toughness and the capacity to perform across distances extending into Classic territory.

Significantly for our filly, the daughters of THE AUTUMN SUN have been tremendous flagbearers for their sire.

AUTUMN GLOW has developed into one of the most exciting racehorses in Australia, while AUTUMN ANGEL, VIBRANT SUN and COCO SUN have each succeeded at Group 1 level.

The commercial market has taken notice.

Several of his high class daughters have subsequently realised seven figure prices when offered as racing and breeding prospects, demonstrating the enormous value attached to a well performed daughter of THE AUTUMN SUN.

His results have created exceptional demand.

THE AUTUMN SUN stood his first season at a service fee of $77,000 including GST before his fee moderated while his early crops developed.

Now, following the racetrack performances of his progeny, his service fee has soared to $137,500 including GST for the 2026 breeding season.

That rise is a powerful endorsement from the commercial breeding market.

Our filly was conceived when THE AUTUMN SUN stood at a significantly lower fee, yet she now enters her racing career as a daughter of one of Australia’s most sought after stallions.

That creates an important commercial advantage.

The strength of this pedigree does not stop with her sire.

Her dam PRINCESS NOIR was bred in Japan and is by Japanese Derby winner and Champion Sire NEO UNIVERSE.

PRINCESS NOIR was placed as a three year old in Japan and carries bloodlines sourced from two of the world’s most respected thoroughbred industries.

Japanese breeding has become increasingly influential within Australian racing.

The best Japanese bloodlines are respected for their toughness, soundness, constitution and ability to produce horses capable of sustaining speed over distance.

PRINCESS NOIR also descends from a highly accomplished European female family.

She is a daughter of the dual Stakes Winner PENKENNA PRINCESS, a high class racemare who won the Fred Darling Stakes and Oh So Sharp Stakes and was runner up in the Irish One Thousand Guineas at Group 1 level.

PRINCESS NOIR is a half sister to the Stakes Winner TRICOLORE BLEU, along with the Stakes Performers DANON GELATO and WORLD IMPACT.

She is also a half sister to VASILISSA, the dam of Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner TAGALOA.

TAGALOA was a top class juvenile who defeated a quality field in one of Australia’s most important two year old races before retiring to stud.

Therefore, our filly is closely related to a Group 1 winning two year old and commercial young stallion.

This is a female family that has repeatedly produced class across Japan, Europe and Australia.

PRINCESS NOIR has also begun producing winners herself.

Her first foal raced in Japan and was placed at both two and three.

Her first Australian bred foal is MARKDEL, a son of SNITZEL who has developed into a talented metropolitan winning racehorse.

MARKDEL was purchased as a yearling for $320,000 and has continued to improve with maturity, having now recorded 5 wins to 1300m, including three city wins and earnings of $250,125.

Our filly is also a full sister to NEAREST, an attractive son of THE AUTUMN SUN retained by Arrowfield Stud and its racing partners.

Having a sibling by the same sire provides Arrowfield with a direct understanding of how the mating develops physically, and their decision to return PRINCESS NOIR to THE AUTUMN SUN adds further confidence to the pattern.

The genetic cross itself offers another compelling layer.

THE AUTUMN SUN is a son of REDOUTE’S CHOICE, while PRINCESS NOIR is by NEO UNIVERSE.

The broader pattern of sons of REDOUTE’S CHOICE over daughters of NEO UNIVERSE has produced four runners for four winners.

Among those four runners is the dual Stakes Winning filly

AKARI.

That represents one hundred per cent winners to runners and twenty five per cent Stakes Winners to runners.

Although the sample remains select, the results are exceptionally encouraging.

It means the mating is not built solely upon theory or fashionable names.

The genetic pattern has already produced a Stakes Winner, and importantly, that Stakes Winner is a filly.

Our yearling carries the same fundamental sire line and broodmare sire pattern.

When this genetic evidence is combined with her A 386% rating, Q7 Quality Rating and black type filled female family, it provides considerable substance behind the mating.

There is also an attractive balance within her pedigree.

THE AUTUMN SUN brings the dominant Australian speed and class of REDOUTE’S CHOICE, supported by the international stamina and quality of GALILEO through his dam.

PRINCESS NOIR contributes the Japanese influence of NEO UNIVERSE and SUNDAY SILENCE, together with the European speed and toughness of PIVOTAL through PENKENNA PRINCESS.

The result is a filly bred to possess speed, strength, athleticism and the genetic scope to develop as distances increase.

His team has the facilities, staff, knowledge and patience to guide young horses through every stage of their preparation, while his extensive stable network allows each horse to be placed where it has the best opportunity to succeed.

His stable has developed outstanding performers across every distance range, from brilliant sprinters through to Classic horses, and we believe this filly possesses the pedigree and physical attributes to flourish within his system.

She will be trained from CIARON’s Warwick Farm stables, giving her access to his outstanding Sydney operation and the extensive racing opportunities available throughout New South Wales.

Naturally, our primary objective is success on the racetrack.
