At the 2016 Australian Easter Yearling Sales, FASTNET ROCK was the sire whose progeny we wanted to buy.
We anticipated with more than half his yearlings available for sale in 2016 going through this one sale, the opportunity that by pure weight of numbers, there may be a few that represented good buying and if we had done our due diligence upon them, including a full vet, x-rays and scope, we were there to swoop.
And this is how the sale turned out with
Team Dynamic grabbing 2 spectacular colts (both foal shares) finding their way into the
Dynamic Syndications team.
The first was a Sprinting type – Lot 69 from SEVRUGA (by ENCOSTA DE LAGO).
This super colt is a typical jump and run style of thoroughbred. Short coupled, good bone, strong, powerful, he was a perfect sprinter / miler type. 5% Shares are $10,997 inc GST and all costs to 31st July.
Our second purchase Lot 263. A Gorgeous GREY and different style of horse. He was out of a Sadler’s Wells mare.
A more classical middle-distance type – 1600m to 2400. He’s the the horse to aim toward the Guineas and Derbies as a 3yo and 2400m Cup races and a Plate as an older horse. 5% Shares are $12,950 inc GST and all costs to 31st July.
