JUMEIRAH BEACH (6yo g. Pride Of Dubai x Vormista) wins despite a roughhouse battering, Race 1 at the Hawkesbury Stand Alone Metropolitan meeting for Dynamic Trainer JASON DEAMER and our DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS Owners

JUMEIRAH BEACH arrives in time to claim victory
Two Metropolitan Saturday wins back-to-back, having won in Brisbane in a Benchmark 70 at his previous start over 1615m, JUMEIRAH BEACH has banked $97,700 in his past two race starts.

At Hawkesbury he lined up at the barriers heavily supported in the market ($15.0 on opening into $5.50) to start second favourite behind Dynamic Syndications other runner in the race, Starboard ($4.80).
JUMEIRAH BEACH had to overcome significant hardship to win here, after he was badly hampered at the 400m when going for a run between horses.
The gap was not there, but our rider attempted to barge through, and when the slight opening quickly closed, our horse was spat out the back, into last position at the 350m on the Heavy 8 surface.
The race was as good as over, but despite the interference, JUMEIRAH BEACH would only see daylight at the 150m, sprouted wings and flew home to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

Connections know there is only one way to-ride JUMEIRAH BEACH and that is to ride stone cold in the early stages of a race at the rear and let him sprint home the final 400m.
In this event JUMEIRAH BEACH went back and settled third last, some 14 lengths off the leaders passing the 1000m point. From the 600m to the 400m the field bunched, and JUMEIRAH BEACH was already travelling like the winner closing fast as the field turned into the home straight.
At this point observers thought how far? but then the inexperience of apprentice Braith Nock came through, when instead of steering a course around the field to the outside, or cutting back towards the fence, our rider chose to create a run that wasn’t there, and as a result, JUMEIRAH BEACH received significant interference and was lucky not to fall.
Back last, 6-lengths from the leaders and all momentum lost, the race appeared over from the grandstand, but our JASON DEAMER trained horse was very fit and in fantastic condition. He applied his class to reel them in and go on to score a narrow but courageous victory.

Too big, too strong, too good for his peers
After the race was run and won, the Stewards took over and gave our apprentice a 5-day suspension for his error resulting in careless riding interference.
Racecaller Luke Marlow was awestruck by the victory, and we pick up his call over the final 400m from the top of the straight:
“Northern Eyes pushes out, Gold Pattern; tight for room Jumeriah Beach - he can't get a run! He got chopped out trying to force through, then Starboard, Vintage Choice, Prince of Swords, the inside Let’s Fly, and Northern Eyes came at them, then Gold Pattern wider on the track.
“150m out Northern Eyes hit the lead, Gold Patterns coming home with a strong run, Jumeriah Beach - he couldn't still get up could he? He's surging at them! Lookout, oh that's a win! Jumeriah Beach has somehow won! He got flattened at the top of the straight, and he’s drove through to win from Northern Eyes. That’s an incredible win!
Gold Pattern has run third, fourths a photo Vintage Choice, Let’s Fly, Prince of Swords back behind them Starboard he didn't let down (heavy ground), and behind those then was Camaguey, Direct Fire and Miss Hades - that’s shades of Gods Own in the Guineas of all those years ago! - He got knocked down and has still won Jumeirah Beach - incredible win really, he was not entitled to pick them up after getting badly pocketed at the top of the straight."

A happy "Sammy the Strapper" is a much appreciated member of the Dynamic Deamer Team.
Sky Channel interviewer Greg Radley comes in to say: “JUMEIRAH BEACH obviously had a lot on those, after being knocked down shortly after turning for home, the wind was knocked out of his sails, Braith Nock was able to balance him up again and win.”
Fellow commentator Ron Dufficy added in: “He was the winner before the turn, the way he started to blend in off that hot speed and then he hits the snag there at a vital stage when he just got the momentum up; picks himself up again, it was good, so Jason (Deamer) has done a really good job to get his form back on the board putting 2 together there. A good win there from a horse that's found his form, and that time there 1:29.77 is really good.”
Greg Radley says: “In the Dynamic colours back walks Braith Nock who is trying to win the apprentices title and he's going about things the right way.”
Corey Brown then speaks with Braith. “Congratulations Braith, good effort after getting knocked off his feet like that.”

Braith responded: “Yeah I thought the run presented and I anticipated to take it and once it closed up, and once we got that big bump and spat out, I thought he’d just go to the line nicely, but he really lifted late and got over the top of them.
“The track is a quite choppy, a heavy track is going to play like that, so I thought that track, the way he got through that last start, I thought he would be able to handle that today really good, so now he's done so.”
