A record breaking NZB Ready to Run Sale this week at Karaka delivered plenty of pinhook success with 18 two-year-olds selling for $300,000 or more above their yearling purchase price. A notable mention was the only OLE KIRK in the sale. He was already gelded, and sizzled up over the 200m in a time of 10.19 secs. Offered by Lyndhurst Farm, they hit a home run with their gelding from Press Box selling for $550,000 to Magus Equine (HK). That was a cool $430,000 difference!
