We only purchased
one yearling during this second session but we got the one we desperately wanted.

A++ 2,772% pedigree rating we know that this cross works a treat.
Our fantastic filly has
2yo runner written all over her and it’s easy to see why she captured our attention.
However it’s
what’s going on off the catalogue’s printed page that adds real excitement to the awesome emotional feeling that first sweeps over you when you behold the class this filly possesses.
Since the start of the 2016 Sale Season, Dynamic had been looking for that
one special yearling by first crop sire
EXCELEBRATION – the Group 1 winning son of Champion Sire
EXCEED AND EXCEL.
In this filly, we found what we were looking for by this sire.
Athleticism, size, presence, excellent conformation and most importantly, she appears she will be a
precocious 2yo.
From a rapidly growing black-type pedigree, our filly is from the mare
NUCLEAR FORCE (by Encosta De Lago).
As a racehorse, she was a sizzling city class sprinter winning
6 races at 1000m and ran 4th in the SAJC Dermody S., LR.
This is the family of SW:
NEW SMYRNA, ROM’S STILETTO, ROCKETTES, XAARAVID, DANZIG’S SPIRIT, SPIRITED ONE, DR SWEET, etc, etc.
However there is
one particular exciting Black Type horse that is currently in the news and could well have a massive 2 months in front of it.
NUCLEAR FORCE has only produced 2 foals with our filly being her second foal.
Her first foal is the Boom 2yo DEFCON (by Choisir) trained by the Snowden’s.
DEFCON
DEFCON has had 2 race starts to date – finishing a ½ length 2nd in the ATC Silver Slipper Stakes Gr2 and on debut he ran 1½ lengths 2nd in the ATC Canonbury Stakes Gr3 on a Heavy 8 surface.
However on the rating figures returned for both efforts so far,
we strongly believe DEFCON is a serious racing prospect and has the figures to
win a major 2yo race and would be a
competitive Slipper prospect.
We believe on the figures we're working, he rates better than his much admired stablemate CAPITALIST. Therefore if we are accurate, this filly has the potential to
skyrocket in value. Time will tell !
DEFCON only raced after the catalogue page was printed and the high majority of buyers were unaware that
the filly we purchased was DEFCON’S ½ sister and importantly –
both are from Danehill line sires.
DEFCON has accepted to race this weekend on both Saturday in the Gr2 Todman Slipper Trial and on Sunday in the Black Opal Stakes Gr3.
Therefore with
already a Gr2 and a Gr3 placing on his resume there is every opportunity that the son of Choisir could add further black type to this filly’s already outstanding page.
It’s not often that you can secure a half-sister from a young mare that’s first foal is a Classy 2yo but this is certainly the case with our fantastic filly.
