CARAVAGGIO in Control at Strong Tatts UK Craven Breeze Up Sales

The 2 day Tattersalls UK CRAVEN Breeze-Up Sale concluded overnight with 121 Lots selling for an Average 86,000 Guineas ($161,500 AUD) & a Median of 68,000 Guineas ($127,500 AUD). The star amongst the Sires was CARAVAGGIO (Scat Daddy) who has made a cracking start to his sire career, and currently leads the First Crop Sires by Earnings. Day 2 session was topped by Lot 143 a Colt by CARAVAGGIO ex BRIGHT SAPPHIRE at 240,000 Guineas this proved the second highest price paid for a colt at the sale. Five (5) CARAVAGGIO 2yo’s sold for an Average of 112,500 Guineas ($211,000 AUD) and a Median of 120,000 Guineas ($225,000 AUD).
