EMPATHY Records Dynamic Winner 45 for 2018-19 Racing Season

09 Jun 19

Congratulations to the Ownership Team that races 3yo gelding EMPATHY on his tough win when resuming from a spell over 1000m at Tamworth on Saturday.

This was just his 4th Career start and now EMPATHY has recorded his 2nd win.

Both wins have been first up, both wins have earned BOBS Bonuses and both wins have been at 1000m.

EMPATHY (All Too Hard x Galapagos Girl) is trained by leading Country Based Trainer BRETT CAVANOUGH from Scone.

In this most recent win, EMPATHY recorded a 0.2 length win over Hey Dude with Just A Dame 0.31 lengths back in third. They ran 58.18 secs on the Soft track in the Petals Florist Network Class 1 Handicap.

EMPATHY was ridden by Luke Cumberland.

From the start they went very quick (too quick) and EMPATHY didn’t have that toe so Luke settled in 6th position and stayed in that spot approaching the turn.

As the field swung for home, Luke got EMPATHY out wide to give the horse free running and he quickly dashed up to eyeball the leaders.

From the 200m EMPATHY started to feel the pinch and lay in under pressure which caused Luke to have too stop riding and straighten, which reduced the winning margin but despite this, the horse was never in danger from the 200m to the winning post.

This win recorded Dynamic Syndications 45th Race Win for the 2018-19 Racing Season and our 587th Race Win overall.

Congratulations to our Top Team of Owners that race EMPATHY:
