On Sunday the 1st of March, the Opening Day of the 2020 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale was conducted at Oaklands Junction. DISCOMBE took his career to 9 starts: 1 Win, 3 Seconds, 2 Thirds, 1 Fourth, 1 Fifth.

Lightly raced Deep Field three-year-old Californiadeepshot (Deep Field x Vormista) made a winning start in his debut at Hong Kong’s Happy Valley on Wednesday keeping his unblemished race record intact having won his previous two starts in Australia. Californiadeepshot broke the Kembla Grange Track Record over 1000 metres when stopping the clock in 55.84 seconds to win his first race career start in August. He won again at his next start at the same venue in September and was then sent to Hong Kong. He won three barrier trials in Hong Kong before stepping out for his first race start in a Hong Kong Class Three sprint over 1200 metres.
