Your name is in the Racebook, you get the same
Raceday Ticketing Entitlements as if it was Full Ownership and you receive your
pro-rata distribution of the net Prizemoney Won, after statutory deductions and lease rental fees.
Because it’s a lease, you don’t have the expense of any insurance on the horse and if the horse doesn’t live up to expectation, we can terminate the lease at anytime throughout the lease period by supplying the lessor with 30 days written notice.
The 2yo filly has been leased to us from
EMIRATES PARK STUD, one of the leading thoroughbred nurseries in the Hunter Valley. This filly had been retained by
His Excellency Nasser Lootah for him to race. However due to our close working association, we were offered the opportunity to race one of several fillies he had retained in 2013 under lease. We chose this filly as we believed she offered an exciting 3yo prospect to be aimed at middle distance racing.
