Courtney Smith gets these retired horses up and going into their life after racing.

Persistency only raced on one occasion where he bowed his tendon in the race which was the end of his racing career. However with patience and TLC, Courtney has guided Percy through his preliminary education to become a rising star on the show circuit.
Here is an overview of Percy's start to the new season.
His first competition was on
Sunday the 25th of August where Percy
won two classes:
(1) Led Thoroughbred
(2) ANSA class.
That resulted in Percy being rewarded
Reserve Champion Hack and Courtney winning
Champion Lady Rider of the show.
On
Sunday 1 September the pair attended Gosford Winter Agriculture Show where they
won Champion Large Hack receiving a beautiful embroided horse rug for their effort!
Percy is thoroughly enjoying his new career as a show horse and loves the attention he receives from all the girls.
