Arrowfield Sire DUNDEEL Achieves 10th Individual Gr1 Winner with Win by IDLE FLYER

Another terrific weekend for Arrowfield Stud sire Dundeel when 4YO daughter Idle Flyer became the highly rated sire’s 10th Group 1 winner with a tremendous victory in the $1 million ATC Queen of the Turf 1600m Gr1 on Day 2 of The Championships at Royal Randwick. Last-start winner of the Emancipation S. G2, Idle Flyer levelled up to multiple Group 1 winners Treasurethe Moment, then Pride Of Jenni and finally Lady Shenandoah (by Snitzel) before kicking clear to score by 0.85 length in 1.33.81 – a new race record. She is the 9th stakes winner, and the 2nd Group 1 winner from Dundeel's 2021 crop joining South Australian Derby winner Femminile.

On Tuesday 31 March, our team visited Bimbadeen Park to inspect our 2026 yearlings and capture the latest images before the seasonal change brings winter coats and hides their natural athleticism. As expected, the youngsters are thriving. They are in outstanding order and full credit goes to Shane Rose and his crew, whose horsemanship continues to deliver us exceptional results. Importantly, every yearling has now completed their breaking-in and education phase. They are currently enjoying a short period of rest and relaxation before stepping into the next stage of their journey through pre-training.

Kindergarten Underway for Dynamic Babies Class of 26

We were on hand with our camera ready to capture our Class of 2026 yearlings showing off what they had learnt under the expert tutelage of Australia's Number 1 Horseman SHANE ROSE at Bimbadeen Park . Shane has broken-in and educated them all, and just like any set of proud parents, we were there to watch them graduate. We have a photo gallery of each of them going through their programmes.
