STOP PRESS: FRIDAY 20/8/10
" DID YOU SEE BLINK " ?
Dynamic Syndications clients who have so far purchased into our stunning colt by Stratum ex Bridie Belle had a lot to shout about on Friday 20 August when the Golden Slipper winner - The Champion First Crop Sire and Champion 2yo Sire - STRATUM, posted another winner after the spectacular debutant filly BLINK scored with ease.
BLINK is the Full Sister to our colt.
The Danny O'Brien trained BLINK jumped well and was always up on the pace before dashing clear at the top of the straight to win the 1000m three year-old maiden by a length and a half in a stylish performance.
Blink - As a yearling
A $90,000 purchase from the Magic Millions Yearling Sale from the draft of YarramanPark, BLINK (pictured as a yearling) is the first foal of Group Two winning Al Akbar mare Bridie Belle (NZ), who comes from the family of Group One winning miler Penny Edition.
Our stunning Full Brother to BLINK has broken in superbly and has his trainer Jason Coyle very excited about his prospects.
Now his full sister has won so stylishly on debut and reports suggesting she is certain to be heading towards Black Type events in the near future, our 2yo full brother looks incredibly good value for astute investors.

STOP PRESS: 2/8/10
It's official ! STRATUM is Sensational ! STRATUM concluded his first season sires premiership with a historic milestone NEVER before achieved. He cracked the $3 million in earnings mark with his first crop !
One of our most promising young stallions to have entered the Australian sire ranks in years, Golden Slipper winner Stratum arrived at Widden in 2006 with connections living a dream of him being a success for the stud but nobody could envisage what a fairytale season that unfolded for the son of Redoute's Choice.
Stratum became the first stallion in history whose progeny have amassed over $3million in their first season in Australia.
Widden Stud boss Antony Thompson said "No stallion has ever cracked $3million in their first season, with Danehill coming closest 17 years ago with $1.7million."
"Danehill was in fact the last stallion before Stratum to sire a Golden Slipper winner in his first crop and in more modern times the highest earning Champion first season stallions have been the late Lion Hunter with $1.5million and More Than Ready with $1.4million."
Stratum has had 53 youngsters to race already, a number that is more than any other sire this season, his stock proving sound, tractable and easy to train.
From those runners, Stratum has had 15 winners (1 each in New Zealand and Singapore) and 17 placegetters, so over 60% have finished in the first three and amongst them are Golden Slipper winner Crystal Lily, stakes-winner Pellizotti, Group One placed American Crew and stakes-placed Celebration Girl, Across the Moon and Strata Star and Posh Chic, Eclair Mystic and Martika, etc.
"He has 11.3% stakes performers to runners, which is the highest figure in the top five leading 2YO sires in the country which includes Redoute's Choice (9.1%), More Than Ready (7.7%) and Commands (5.1%).
His efforts have earned him the title of Champion Australian First Season Sire 2009/2010 and Champion Sire of Australian 2YOs making him the first freshman sire to win both titles since his grand-sire Danehill (USA) attained the rare feat in 1993/1994.
As the achievements of his progeny on the racetrack have unfolded, Stratum's popularity in the sale ring has grown to the extent he averaged $347,500 at the 2010 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale behind only Redoute's Choice and ahead of Zabeel, Encosta De Lago and Fastnet Rock.
His yearlings in 2010 sold up to $500,000, $450,000, $325,000, $300,000 - offering breeders some astonishing returns on his $30,250 service fee.
POSH CHIC breaking 12 year old Class Record at Canterbury
You simply will not get a better opportunity to buy a share in a horse by a stallion that is on fire and destined to be the next Danehill or Redoute’s Choice.
We only have 1 x 10% share remaining in the colt that is being trained at Randwick by leading young horseman Jason Coyle. If needed, this share can be divided into 2 x 5% shares.
The facts speak for themselves - Don’t Miss Out.

A TOP QUALITY INDIVIDUAL
This individual passed Dr. Tim Roberts veterinary inspection and also passed X-Ray inspection and Endoscopic inspection.
He was considered Dr. Tim Roberts and Dean Watt as an outstanding colt and was placed in the top colts at the sale by looks and "A GOLD STAR RATED "BEST OF SALE SELECTION" on pedigree rating score at the saleyard. He was considered "A STRONG & TOUGH COLT" and we wanted him.
It’s easy to rattle off the exciting quotes about this individual. Simply he’s stunning.
Look for yourself ! It’s easy to see why (even for an untrained eye !) the quality this individual exhibits.
Q) Why did we buy him ?
A) That's easy to answer !
Pedigree: Before the sale: When researching which lots to inspect prior to the sales we look for certain genetic factors that increase the chance of the yearling being a superior athlete. This pedigree had certain ancestor duplications which we are seeking, to give what we consider a balanced blend of speed and endurance. This yearling represented that and was rated in our GOLD STAR - BEST OF SALE SELECTION- A+ 657% range.
Conformation: An excellent looking individual with very good conformation. Athletic, stands over good ground; has a good length of reign, good angulations to pasterns and shoulders. Importantly this yearling has good width of jaw, a deep girth and strong hindquarter, is a terrific walking individual, very purposeful, strong and tracks truly. Importantly this yearling has a very good overstep.
Veterinarian: Our veterinarian inspected the yearling prior to purchase and believed this youngster to be a quality individual and an outstanding chance. Before purchase, 42 X-Rays were examined with no abnormal findings noted. After purchase an endoscopic test on the horse's airway was performed and found to have normal function.
Fair Market Value: Considering this superior genetic pedigree, the commercial value of the family, excellent athletic conformation and overall strength, we rated the this yearling as an "A+" purchase. We set a strict ceiling price on the horse and were quite prepared to bid up to our limit to secure what we considered was an outstanding individual.
I valued the colt at $80,000 + (plus 1 bid up to $90,000) (3 x the 2009 Service Fee of $33,000 inc GST less a 20% discount for Sale status and current economy factors) and we were prepared to pay our ceiling price.
I believe we secured a quality individual at close to a 16.66% discount and this represented exceptional value.

A PROVEN NICK :
NICK = SUCCESS RATE
Her Genetics – Bred to a "PROVEN NICK"
Genetically – she’s bred to be outstanding. When we went to the sales we were looking first and foremost for the individual. She had to be an equine athlete. It’s an incredible set of coincidences until you analyse the statistics and then the old proverb rings true again
“The apple doesn’t roll far from the tree”.
So, it makes sense to
"keep drilling where oil has been found"
"keep digging where you find gold"
Full report of on this pedigree is located in the documents section at the top of this webpage.
PEDIGREE NOTES – It’s all in the genes !
Given the racetrack ability of the Sire and Dam and the concentration of Danehill over Success Express which is a proven cross of elite racetrack individuals, it is not surprising to see that Danehill at stud is enjoying a successful cross with this line of mares.
The Danehill / Success Express cross has produced horses in Australia of the calibre of Group 1 AJC Sires Produce Winner EXCITES and Group 1 Winner GOLD EDITION as well as Group 2 Winner TICKETS and Group 3 Winner TRANSLATE.
Ancestor duplications: Natalma 6m,6f x Nijinsky 5f x 6m Nothern Dancer 5m,6m
Whichever set of statistical data you choose to accept for information flow, it remains constant – Simply, on pedigree this is an exceptionally good mating with a significantly increased opportunity to produced an above average racehorse.
Since we have matched the pedigree to this individual's excellent conformation and athleticism, we are convinced this horse represents a wonderful equine investment opportunity in a quality thoroughbred.
Whilst there can never be any guarantees in thoroughbred breeding and this individualy would be no exception to that fact, the reality is that we would always rather take advantage of sets of statistics that are weighted heavily in our favour than to purchase horses bred to be only average in the first instance and then have to pray for a miracle.

Young Gun RANDWICK Trainer
JASON COYLE is now "DYNAMIC"
JASON & TRUSTING
Jason Coyle is a young trainer on a rapid ride to the top.
In such a relatively short career span, he has experienced success at the highest level others have worked a lifetime and are still yet to achieve.
Jason has a stated business philosophy that aims to produce the best results for every horse under his care. It’s Jason’s easy going, likable personality, combined with an acute eye for a horse and attention to detail that sets him apart from his peers, stamping him as a leading young horseman, destined and determined to reach the top. Jason exhibits a hunger and passion for a sport that embraces the full range of emotions in us all. He meets these emotions with a cool and unflappable mannerism, a calmness that will ensure he reaches his dreams.
Jason’s commitment to success will benefit our owners who shall reap the fruits of his hard toil.
He has had an incredible success rate with horses in his care for such a young trainer who, in relative terms, is just starting out along what promises to be a wonderful career path.
He has shown a very rare affinity of being successful with young horses, as well as the patience and aptitude to continue winning races with seasoned gallopers at all class levels.
He has made a seamless transition from humble training beginnings at Newcastle, to then control a large operation at Warwick Farm which he handled with incredible success. Realising that controlling such a large operation denied his passion of working in a “hands-on” approach (which he enjoys so much), Jason took a bold and calculated step to transfer to Randwick and concentrate on a stable of just 20 boxes where he can devote all his energies to the success of these horses in his care.
For such a young man his “Honour Roll of Success” is incredible. He has won 2 Group 1 races, 2 Group 2 and 4 Listed events in the past 2 years. These included:
Group 1 - Champagne Stakes - Onemorenomore
Group 1 - T.J. Smith Stakes - Linky Dink
Group 2 - Warwick Stakes – Trusting
Group 2 – Sunline Stakes – Subtle Cove
Listed – NSW Breeders Plate – Run For Wilson
Listed - Classic Mile – Soiled
Listed – Sir Edward Williams Hcp – Soiled
Listed – Gibson Carmichael Stakes – Run For Naara
Like many successful trainers before him, Jason’s "apparent overnight success" is actually the result of many hard years of apprenticeship. Jason had a dream but knew he needed the experience. He decided to spend a few years working with each leading trainer at Randwick and combine their skill levels, pick the eyes out of what and how each stable had achieved success and eliminate what appeared to Jason, were obvious areas to avoid. It’s more than fair to say Jason has done his apprenticeship longer than most, achieving foreman status for Gai Waterhouse and David Payne, Jason had also prior worked with John Size and John O'Shea. He has enjoyed the challenges of working in both small and large stables of horses.
Success came quickly for Jason after gaining his license, winning races with the “cast-offs” that had questionable form prior to joining the stable. These are the standard tools to trade for any aspiring young trainer.
The stable grew rapidly as astute owners were alert to his skills and horsemanship. His stable success continues to grow and his horses race well.
Jason’s aim is to continually strengthen his stable. He has a patience and a strong work ethic, which we at Dynamic applaud. We believe he deserves the opportunity to train quality thoroughbreds which will ensure he delivers the best for our horse’s.
The attention to detail that can only be found in a small team, provides tried horses and young thoroughbreds alike with an ideal environment to reach their potential. Jason offers a "hands-on" service to our equine athletes which gives them every opportunity to perform to their personal best.
Coyle Racing is committed to providing clients with a service that we are happy with.
Jason has the dedication and desire to become a force in the training ranks and looks forward to a successful season with our elite Dynamic thoroughbreds.
STALLIONS PROFILE
By the CHAMPION FIRST SEASON Sire -
Australian CHAMPION 2yo &
GOLDEN SLIPPER Winner of 2005
&
SIRE OF THE 2010 GOLDEN SLIPPER WINNER IN FIRST FIRST CROP !!!
STRATUM – This GOLDEN SLIPPER WINNER is ready to RUMBLE !
Stratum - Golden Slipper Winner and Champion Australian 2yo in 2005
STRATUM – The exciting Golden Slipper Winner of 2005 launched his first crop upon the racetrack this season. His yealings in the sale ring continue to achieve spectacular results over the Magic Millions Sales in 2010 after spectacular results with his first crop yearlings of 2009 and the trend is set to continue in the sales to come.
The superbly credentialed stallion had been well supported by breeders and the results came through the sale ring. In the 2009 sales in sessions 1-4 there were 24 yearlings offered, 21 sold for an average of $115,595 (3.8 times service fee) with a highest price of $370,000, whilst the session 5 results were 6 offered, 6 sold for an average of $45,583 (1.5 times service fee). Overall 30 yearlings were offered by STRATUM, 27 sold (90%) for an overall average of $113,152 (3.7 times service fee)
STRATUM was a star attraction himself as a yearling in 2004. By Redoute’s Choice ex Bourgeois, he was the highest priced yearling by his sire at the Magic Millions that year when knocked down to trainer Paul Perry. So, naturally there has been much anticipation surrounding his yearling sale debut as a sire.
With 30 yearlings offered at the Magic Millions in 2009 which are now 2yo's on the track, STRATUM was the most represented of all freshman sires on the Gold Coast which is a testimony to his ability to produce that strong and precocious style of horse that you would expect to see when a stallion stamps his stock.
STRATUM has tremendous appeal to both breeder and buyer alike. Realistically priced at a service fee of $33,000, he has a wonderful pedigree that also boasts Golden Slipper Winners Luskin Star and Vain. As a type, he is one of the best looking young stallions in the Hunter Valley and stands at the historic Widden Stud - the home of other successful Golden Slipper winning stallions Todman, Vain and Marscay.
Stratum - Winning the Golden Slipper
STRATUM achieved an outstanding racetrack resume. He won the Golden Slipper Gr1 1200m and the Pago Pago Stakes Gr2 1200m (race record) which made him Australian Champion 2yo Colt in 2005. He also was placed another 7 times including 2nd in the Roman Consul S. Gr2 1200m, Bill Stutt S., Gr2 1600m, Age Classic Gr2 1200m, Up and Coming S., Gr3 1200m, Skyline S., Gr3 1200m. He was placed 3rd Newmarket S., Gr1 1200m, Rory’s Jester Plate Gr3 1200m and 4th San Domenico S., Gr3 1000m.
Being the 2005 Champion Australian 2yo and Golden Slipper Winner, STRATUM is the BEST son of Redoute’s Choice and Redoute’s Choice is the BEST son of Danehill.
Out of a Luskin Star mare, STRATUM is ideally bred. STRATUM is a Northern Dancer line horse and with that strain now in the fifth generation of his progeny he should nick well with most sirelines.

VETERINARY REPORT :
“Our Due Diligence is your Quality Assurance”
This yearling passed a complex physical veterinary inspection by our contracted veterinarian
Dr. TIM ROBERTS.
Dr Roberts has been working closely with Dean Watt as Dean’s contracted veterinarian at yearling sales and stable work for longer than 10 years. Both Tim and Dean have an excellent working relationship which has resulted in the high rate of success on the racetrack.
Tim , Dean and Adam (The Apprentice) inspecting a yearling's "Action"
as it is being paraded at the sales.
Tim has been an instrumental factor in Dean’s success.
X-RAYS being inspected in the X-Ray Repository at the Sales
All yearlings that Dean identifies as possible purchases MUST pass a detailed physical examination by Dr Roberts. If a yearling passes this examination then Dr Roberts and his equine practice partner Dr Brett Warren inspect a full set of 42 x-rays. If the yearling passes this inspection and the vets concur that there were no abnormalities present on x-ray then the yearling is approved for purchase. After being purchased, each yearling is allowed to be examined at the sale by endoscope to check its windflow.
Our yearling was examined endoscopically and was found to normal in appearance and function.
